Specials

On this page you can select which products will be displayed with a special price tag. Make strong use of this feature. Specials on most or all of your products will keep the customer's attraction longer.

The page lists all of the products that are on "special" with the option to edit them and add more. There are 6 columns for each entry:

Subcategory - The subcategory to which the product belongs too.

Product - The product name.

Product Price - This is the price that will show in the catalog. Notice the regular price is lined through and the sale price is in red.

Date Added - the date the special price entry was added to the database/catalog.

Expires On - the date at which the special price entry will expire. When you load the administration page, it checks the database to see if any specials have expired. If so, it deletes the special price entries.

Action - One can edit or delete the special price entry.

To edit an existing special price entry, click on the edit button of the entry. You will be able to change the price and the expiration date of the entry. Then click the update button to update the database/catalog.

To add a new entry, select the subcategory, and then the product. Upon doing so, you will see an entry for editing the price and one for editing the expiration date. Once finished, click on the insert button. You should now see that particular item on sale at the special price.

Deleting a special price entry is straight forward, just click on the delete button.
