You can enter as many as you wish!
- Does the cost of the storefront
depend on how many products I enter and sell?
NO! The client is only charged the standard monthly
fee of $39.95
- How many product pages can I put on my storefront?
This question does not apply to our storefront package. The reason is that there is only one product page needed to dynamically generate a page for each product on the fly (automatically). This is accomplished through the use of PHP and MySQL.
- Does the hosting provide email forwarding and auto responders?
Yes, both.
- Does the hosting service include
e-mail access through web browser (web mail)?
Yes.
- I already have a domain name
registered, can I use it for my e-store?
Yes.
- Is your storefront strictly for
selling computers and computer related products?
NO! You can sell just about any type of product.
Using the product attributes, one can enter clothing,
footwear, tools, software, etc.
- Do I have to host my storefront
with you?
Yes. Our dedicated servers are configured specifically
for the storefront which relies on certain utilities
to perform certain background tasks.
- Is your storefront basically
a template where I can modify the pages and add
my products?
No. It is much more than that. With normal templates
that you can find elsewhere on the web, you would
have to make HTML pages for each product you sell
and make sure that all your links are correct.
Our storefront uses PHP to retrieve product information
from the database and generate the web pages on
the fly. PHP and the database are also used to
enter and store product information for later
retrieval. This means that you don't have to learn
any HTML if you don't want to!
- Do I have to know HTML to enter
products?
No. However, you can make your product descriptions
look more professional if you know the very basic
HTML tags for making text bold, creating tables
and lists, and other simple elements. You can
also use Netscape Navigator 7.0 HTML Editor to
create your product descriptions and copy the
HTML code and paste it into the product entry
page.
- Will the storefront accept credit
cards without a merchant account?
You need at least a PayPal account or a real merchant account to actually charge
money from the customer's credit card account
and transfer the funds into your own business
or personal account.
- If I already have a logo made, can I upload it to my site? Would I have to pay extra for this?
Yes, you can upload your own logo. And there is no cost involved
in using your own logo.
- Does your storefront support search engine friendly URLs/links?
Yes. Using search engine friendly
links, search engine spiders will not have any problems crawling your site.
- How long am I obligated to use your service?
There are NO time restrictions. Services can be cancelled at any time.
